Specifically, I've trained with two Latin American circuses (Crescer e Viver and GravityWorks) and at various locations scattered across the U.S. Crescer e Viver is a circus in Cirque du Soleil's international network Cirque du Monde and is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gravity Works is an aerial troupe based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Aerial hoops are big, steel rings that spin in the air some number of feet (nine, in my case) off of the ground.
Aerial silks are two long strands of fabric that you climb, and then proceed to tie, tangle, drop or pose yourself in and among.
I also like to juggle, unicycle, and tumble poorly (I took intermediate gymnastics at Stanford _eleven_ times).
